Progress and Documents
Our team has done an extensive evaluation of the existing stormwater system in the Bluefield neighborhood. This research and data will helped us design a modified solution that will help reduce the flooding in resident's yards.
In Fall of 2025, we conducted extensive research into related literature and shared these findings in a technology review.
We also conducted multiple sites visits to the neighborhood to better understand the client's needs and current conditions. We surveyed the neighborhood to determine elevations of stormwater grates, and current pipe conditions to be incorporated into our study.
See our VT news video and photos here!
Next, we developed ideas for possible solutions from literature and analyzed possible solutions using decision matrices. See this work below in our Analysis of Potential Solutions.
